Tiger Airways is is signing a new partnership with proprietary web-based credit card specialist Global Currency Exchange (GCX) in a bid to make it easier for customers to pay for their transactions in their local currency.

The contract with GCX is for a three year period. According to the deal GCX will identify a Tiger Airways customer’s credit card country of origin and allow Tiger to automatically convert the transaction price into the customer’s home currency.
