MAXjet builds with second route
Dulles-based MAXjet Airways will begin scheduled passenger service between Washington Dulles International Airport and London Stansted Airport in March.The all-business-class, low-fare transatlantic airline will operate flights to and from London on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with scheduled service from London to Washington to begin March 17. Flights will leave Dulles at 7:30 p.m. arriving London Stansted at 8:30 a.m. the following day. The return flight from London will depart Stansted Airport at 1:00 p.m. arriving Washington Dulles at 4:30 p.m. the same day.
“We are thrilled to offer London service from our Dulles home base,” said Gary Rogliano, MAXjet’s Chief Executive Officer. “There is a huge demand for all-business-class service at a great value in the Washington D.C. area and MAXjet is proud to meet that demand.”
Privately held MAXjet Airways also has operational facilities at New York’s JFK International Airport, where it began service to London on November 1, 2005. Currently, the airline offers flights six days a week between New York and London. Daily service on this route begins on March 18.
