AirTran expands NYC, Dallas flights
AirTran Airways says the airline will expand its route network from Chicago Midway Airport with new daily nonstop flights to New York and Dallas/Ft. Worth
The flights will begin on March 8, 2006, and May 9, 2006, respectively. All flights will be
served by the airline’s popular Boeing 717 aircraft.
On March 8, 2006, AirTran Airways will begin three daily nonstop flights
between Chicago Midway Airport and New York/Newark Liberty International
Airport, as well as adding one additional daily flight to Minneapolis/St. Paul
International Airport.
The airline will begin three daily nonstop flights
between Chicago Midway and Dallas/Ft. Worth International on May 9, 2006.
Also, on February 15, 2006, the airline will add additional daily flights from
Chicago Midway, including one nonstop flight to Atlanta, one to Orlando and
one to Sarasota/Bradenton. By mid-May 2006, the airline will operate 28 daily
departures from Chicago Midway to seven nonstop destinations.
