One of Scotland’s most famous golfing hotels, the Macdonald Rusacks, has launched its off-season golfing programme, with the exceptional guarantee that all golfers will play St Andrews’ Old Course.
Overlooking the legendary 18th green of the Old Course, which hosts this year’s Open Championship, this traditional hotel enjoys a prestigious location. However, until now, tee times were only available through the lottery of a daily ballot for the droves of golfers who make the trip to the birth place of their historic game.

A hugely popular hotel with the US market because of its heritage, Macdonald Rusacks is now also set on attracting European golfers, able to make use of the increasing number of low-fare flights into Edinburgh and Glasgow from the Continent. With the prospect of guaranteed tee times and a unique golfing experience, a major European marketing campaign is already underway and attracting new golfers to the Fife city.
