Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman Set to Open Doors Late Autumn

The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is nearing completion and remains on track for a late autumn opening, according to developer Michael “Mike” Ryan. Meanwhile, sales remain strong for the multi-million dollar private residences located on property which are anticipated to be the ultimate in luxurious living in the Caribbean.“The development of The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman and The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman has been a remarkable team effort by some of the most outstanding and trusted names in the world,” Ryan said.

“This includes The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC, the renowned chef Eric Ripert of Le Bernardin, La Prairie Spa, the legendary golfer and designer Greg Norman, oceanographer Jean-Michael Cousteau, and Nick Bollettieri, tennis coach to the stars. All of us are tremendously reassured and excited to be in the final stretch before opening.”

“I am particularly pleased that so many discriminating world travellers have demonstrated their faith in the project by already signing agreements to purchase our ocean-front residences,” Ryan added.

“At this rate, we anticipate all 69 private Residences to be sold around the time our development company turns the hotel over to The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman management team in the fall.”

A labour force of some 900 will be hard at work in June finishing interiors and swimming pools, laying marble in luxury residences, and installing sculptures and landscaping, the development company reports.
