AA Wins with Latin Trade Magazine
For the third
consecutive year, American Airlines has been voted the best airline and
the best frequent flyer program throughout Latin America by readers of
Latin Trade Magazine. This year, the airline also won in a new airline
category—best business class. The report is in Latin Trade’s February
2005 special issue: “The Best of Latin America.” Latin Trade is the leading pan-regional business magazine in Latin America
with a readership of 350,000. Published in English, Spanish and
Portuguese, the magazine conducts an annual survey of 110,000 executive
readers who travel for business in the region and vote for the best
travel-related service in Latin America. “The Best of Latin America”
survey began in 2003, and since its inception, American has taken top
honors.
“We are very gratified to learn that our passengers selected us their best
travel partner. Our continued effort to exceed their expectations is
showing results. We are committed to continue to satisfy those
expectations and make their travel experience an unforgettable one,” said
Peter Dolara, American’s Senior Vice President, Miami, Caribbean and Latin
America.
Latin Trade readers selected American as the best airline in Latin America
due to its extensive route system, with 212 daily flights to the region.
American also has the largest codesharing and partnership relationships
with other Latin American carriers and is the only carrier that flies to
all major cities in the region.
The readers also voted American No. 1 for the experience of traveling in
business class. The airline’s high level of service makes business
travelers as comfortable as possible during long flights, providing Bose
noise-canceling headphones, and treats such as a mini-spa-in-a-bag. The
airline also supports business travelers in flight with power for laptops
and electronics in each seat.
AAdvantage(R), American’s Frequent Flyer Program, was selected as the best
in Latin America. American Airlines passengers benefit from the airline’s
30 airline partnerships and the oneworld alliance. The airline’s extensive
presence in the region makes it the top choice for travelers for
accumulating miles.
