Traveloptions to Launch New Operator System

TravelOptions will launch a new version of its long-established tour operator system at the Travel Technology Show 2005, combining intuitive ‘Windows’ style navigation and dynamic packaging functionality to help companies reduce costs and open up new markets.  TravelOptions (stand 241), which powers online booking systems for tour operators including TravelExtras, Shortbreaks, Skiworld and Teleticket, will reveal a suite of modules allowing companies to source individual travel components and sell dynamic packages.

The new Windows style system is designed to enhance clients’ customer service capabilities, help users sell more effectively, reduce time spent on administrative tasks and improve information reports.

The solution is ADO.net compliant, allowing users to create comprehensive management reports invaluable to running their business, in applications including Crystal Reports, Excel and SQL Report Server.

Michael Johnson, TravelOptions managing director said: “Companies need easy-to-use, intuitive, powerful systems to succeed in today’s travel market, and we’re constantly developing our solutions to embrace pioneering technology and new opportunities.

“Our dynamic packaging developments will help the industry answer the ferocious demand for independent travel. We’re anticipating an exciting response at the Travel Technology Show.”
