Galileo International has added Hilton International hotels to its Galileo Best Available Rate program. The best available, unrestricted rates of approximately 200 Hilton International hotels in 70 countries are now available to all Galileo-connected travel agents. With over 9,000 hotel properties to choose from, the Galileo Best Available Rate program offers travel agents the convenience of “one-stop” shopping and the confidence that they no longer need to shop outside of the GDS for the best rates.
Participants in the Galileo Best Available Rate program represent nearly 38% of Galileo’s hotel booking traffic worldwide and the GDS expects more chains to join in the near future.
Since launching the program in August 2004, Galileo has signed Best Available Rate agreements with a number of major hotel chains including Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton Hotels, Carlson Hospitality, Omni Hotels, Möevenpick Hotels & Resorts, Le Meridien, Kempinski Hotels & Resorts, Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Protea Hotels. The addition of Hilton International brings the total number of participating hotel brands to over 40. These leading hotel brands also guarantee access to their best available published rates through Galileo’s hotel booking system RoomMaster.
