Rezidor SAS, the Brussels-based multi-brand hospitality company, announces that it has signed a franchise agreement for another property in France - the Radisson SAS Hotel Biarritz. ÊCurrently a Crowne Plaza hotel, the property will be re-branded in January 2005.
The hotel features 150 guestrooms, including nine junior suites, half of which feature ocean views. Parisian interior designer Alain Marcot
has created the design and interior decor for all of the rooms in the hotel.

Food and beverage facilities include a lounge bar and a gourmet
restaurant. The restaurant “l’Hélianthe” offers a modern
interpretation of classical Basque dishes, featuring the flavors of
the region, while the “Transat Café” on the terrace offers Spanish
cuisine.

For conferences, meetings and events, the hotel offers seven
conference and meeting rooms totalling 1,378 square feet of space. ÊA three-level underground parking garage provides a private parking area
for hotel guests.
 
In addition, the hotel’s Wellness Center features a Turkish steam bath, Jacuzzi, spa jet, treatment rooms and a fitness area totalling 1,640 square feet.Ê There is also a rooftop terrace with a heated pool
overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrénées.

Biarritz is located on the southwest coast of France near the Spanish
border, on the Atlantic Ocean. The city has two championship golf
courses with eight other golf courses nearby, convention facilities
for up to 1,400 guests, a casino and a Thalasso therapy center.

The Radisson SAS Hotel Biarritz is a five minute walk from the city
center and the beach.
