TheTrainline and Diners Launches New Service

TheTrainline today announced the launch of its new Statement Account in association with Diners UK Ltd.

The new Statement Account is the easy way to manage business travel and works through a centrally billed facility where all rail travel booked is paid through a dedicated business contact centre and online account service.

The new account has a 30 day credit facility where unlimited rail travel can be booked and online statements are available within 24 hours of booking.  In addition, statements will have a consolidated view of the total spend per month showing enhanced transactional information and a choice of two customised management information fields for each booking.

It eliminates the need for credit/debit card details to be entered on payment and therefore time is saved.  There is no limit to how much travel is booked which also saves the traveller time and there is a 24/7 customer service available every day of the year for any queries.

Dan Hart, Head of Sales for TheTrainline says, “TheTrainline is very excited about the launch of the new Statement Account. We are continually looking for ways to further enhance our business proposition, and the new Statement Account simplifies the travel booking and reconciliation process for our customers, saving employees time and ultimately money. We’re very excited about this partnership with Diners Club and feel that this new service will provide an excellent product for business rail customers.
