Midwest Airlines has
announced the launch of Signature Collection—a line of branded clothing
and travel goods that is available for customer purchase online at
http://www.midwestairlinesstore.com/ . “We are extremely fortunate to have a loyal base of customers who value
our service as ‘The best care in the air,’” explained James J. Reichart,
director of advertising and brand for Midwest Airlines. “Because of their
affinity for our airline, these customers have frequently inquired if we
would ever offer clothing or other items bearing the Midwest brand.”

The new Web site offers a wide range of clothing items including casual
shirts for men and women, polos, jackets and sweatshirts. Several travel
bags are also available. According to Reichart, the offerings focus on
well-made items that are consistent with the airline’s reputation. Rather
than taking a traditional approach with a catalog of mass-produced
merchandise, the airline first sought very high quality items and only
then applied its brand.

“We believe this new line of branded merchandise gives our customers the
quality items they have requested and can wear with pride,” said Reichart.
