a new SMS confirmation service for all online car rental bookings.Designed to make booking car hire even easier, the new service is already
proving popular.  In the first two months of operation over 70% of customers
chose confirmation by SMS to their mobile phone.

juggling busier lives, travellers want fast confirmation of their booking
wherever they are.  The introduction of the SMS service is a further step in
carrentals.co.uk customer service, and the response has been very positive,
with between 70 - 80% of customers now opting for SMS confirmation.

carrentals.co.uk offers discounted prices from major companies including
Hertz, Alamo and Europcar, in over 4,000 locations around the world.  The
website also features over 3,000 links to useful tourism information sites,
plus over 2,700 pages of travel information in a mini-guide format.

Recent research from “HITWISE”, the Internet research and analysis
specialist, has already listed carrentals.co.uk as the seventh most visited
car rental website in the UK.  In addition, the report places carrentals in
the top 75 most visited travel and transport sites in the UK, ahead of
established companies such as Alamo Rent-a-car, Lufthansa, United Airlines
and Brittany Ferries.
