With the main holiday season now underway Perthshire Tourist Board has unveiled its brand new website and claims “it’s as easy to navigate as your favourite magazine”.

As well as many new and innovative features the site contains around 300 pages crammed with information on things to see and do, activities, events, special offers, town maps and much more.Ê AÊ ‘news ticker’, accessible from every page, highlights up to the minute news about what’s on in the area and the addition of an on-line publications library allows users to browse and download some of the Board’s leaflets, guides and maps.

Jennifer Moran, Head of Customer Development with the Board says, “www.perthshire.co.uk is definitely the place to visit for anyone wanting bang up to date information about Perthshire.Ê In an average week we carry details of around 400 events in a constantly updated searchable database as well as some superb special offers on a range of activities including golf, off road driving and hang gliding”.

Jennifer continued, “the web is now the first port of call for many people looking for information to help them plan holidays, short breaks or days out.Ê Our site receives around 25,000 visits per month and gives visitors and local people all the information they are likely to need at the click of a mouse.Ê Since the new site went live we’ve received some encouraging feedback from people who have found the information they were looking for within seconds”.Ê
