ÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊ Wayport CyberCenters are showcased in prominent areas of hotels and feature all the accessibility options demanded by meeting attendees, including a kiosk equipped with notebook computers featuring Intel Centrino? mobile technology for walk-up access, cubicles with high-speed Internet connections for guests using their own notebook computers, printing capabilities and an on-site Wayport data support specialist, all in an area that is visible and convenient for meeting attendees. The CyberCenter is open Monday-Friday, and the services are free to all meeting attendees.
“The ability to remain productive and in-touch with the office is an invaluable and attractive quality to busy guests,” said Tom Corcoran, CEO of Felcor. “Wayport’s CyberCenter with its cutting-edge technology and on-site technical expertise is unlike any other product currently offered in the industry. It creates a ‘win-win’ situation for everyone and has already helped our hotel attract more meeting business and revenue.”
CyberCenters offer added conveniences and a competitive advantage for hotels. Many have even decided to replace existing business centers with Wayport CyberCenters because of the sleek high-tech look and feel, and easy accessibility for guests. Corporate meeting planners also have the option of reserving a private Dedicated CyberCenter - a separate meeting room offering all of the amenities of the public CyberCenter, with additional options such as desktop computers, static IP(s) for additional security, Wi-Fi wireless Internet access, and dedicated bandwidth.
“Wayport’s CyberCenter is unlike any other product currently available for the business traveler,” said Rex Spencer, Customer Service Manager - US Army Programs of Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. “Our group booked our hotel accommodations based on the past professionalism and accommodations. CyberCenter is an added benefit that will be considered for future events. “
“Wayport continues to push high-speed Internet access to a new level by providing innovative and useful products and services that give our hotel partners a competitive advantage,” said Jack Alton, Wayport’s vice president of sales. “Wayport’s CyberCenters provide a priceless amenity to world-class meeting facilities by offering convenient high-speed connectivity and critical business services at no cost to its meeting attendees.”
Wayport plans to open CyberCenters at additional hotel locations throughout the country within the coming months.
