United Mileage Plus and
Newspaper Subscription Services announced a partnership to offer Mileage
Plus members the opportunity to earn miles by subscribing to any of over
60 local and national newspapers. Some of the titles include USA TODAY,
The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Denver Post and others.
Through the partnership, United Mileage Plus members can earn up to 1,000
miles when they purchase a new subscription, or can redeem miles for
50-100% discounts on select subscriptions. “We are committed to enhancing the Mileage Plus program with new partners
that let members earn more miles for every day activities,” said Robert
Sahadevan, senior vice president, Mileage Plus, UAL Loyalty Services, Inc.
“Through our partnership members can both earn miles for new subscriptions
as well as redeem their miles as partial payment for select subscriptions.”
