Charismatic and controversial British entrepreneur BJ Cunningham will keynote the Caribbean Hotel Association’s (CHA) upcoming Caribbean Hotel Industry Conference (CHIC 2004) at the Wyndham El Conquistador Resort & Country Club, Fajardo, Puerto Rico, June 13 - 16th, themed “Caribbean Tourism, Stronger Together.’  As the man behind DEATH» cigarettes in the United Kingdom, BJ Cunningham is considered a visionary in the field of provocative brand creation.

BJ Cunningham started his career as a teenager importing classic cars from the United States.  He won fame establishing the Enlightened Tobacco Company, PLC in the United Kingdom, and then marketing a cigarette brand named DEATH as the «honest smoke« - his message being that authentic and powerful branding requires the truth.  «The future is about market depth and involvement,’ according to Cunningham.
