The first match will take place on Saturday 24th April at the newly built and ultra modern Sazka sports arena in the Czech capital. The same venue will then host the final on Sunday 9th May. The teams taking part in this year`s edition are: Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, and the USA.
” We are extremely proud to have been hand-picked from among so many fine hotels in Prague to accommodate the teams,” said general manager Christian Grage. “Hosting so many top stars, including those of our own national side, is a great honour and also a huge responsibility for us. Our highly motivated staff are certainly looking forward to the challenge and are very eager to prove that the organiser`s choice was undoubtedly the best one. My staff are determined to be among the winners too” concluded the general manager.
The 540-room Corinthia Towers Hotel features excellent leisure and business facilities that include spacious conference rooms, an Executive Club, a fully equipped health and fitness centre on the hotel’s uppermost floor featuring a heated indoor pool with spectacular views of Prague below, several restaurants and bars, and a casino.
