Best Western Launches Low Rate GUARANTEED!

Best Western customers worldwide will
have a more efficient and cost-effective way to book hotel accommodations
on the web for their upcoming leisure or business trips. The new Low Rate,
GUARANTEED! Program launching April 30, 2004, delivers the lowest Internet
rates for Best Western hotel nights and eliminates the time consuming
process of price shopping on a multitude of other web sites. The new Low
Rate, GUARANTEED! reservations can be booked on

lodging industry environment,” said Ric Leutwyler, senior vice president,
Brand Quality and Member Service. “The Low Rate, GUARANTEED! program is
Best Western’s promise to our customers that they will find the lowest
internet rates available by booking on our web site. We also hope to
incent customers to become frequent visitors to by
featuring web site-exclusive offers such as Best Western branded NASCAR
merchandise and contests.”
If a customer finds a lower rate with the same criteria on another web
site, Best Western will match the lower rate and give the customer an
additional ten percent discount. In order to file a claim, the customer
can go to the Best Western web site or call customer service at
1-800-528-1238. All claims must be filed within 48 hours of making the
Best Western reservation, and guests must provide their Best Western
confirmation number.

The competitor’s Internet rate must be viewable and bookable via their web
site. Fax, mail, email, coupons or discounts that do not guarantee the
reservation online will not qualify as proof of the lower rate. The
customer is not required to have a confirmed reservation on the
competitor’s web site.
