Lana`i Announces the 2002 Lana`i Visiting Artist Programme

Elysium: September 4,5,8,9 at Manele Bay Hotel and Lodge at Koele: Elysium, an electrifying sextet composed of violins, cello, viola, horn and piano, presents four programs of works by Mozart, Barber, Dvorak, Puccinil Brahms and Schumann.


Lee Hefter: September 14-15 - Lodge at Koele: Executive Chef, Spago Beverly Hills. At Wolfgang Puck`s restaurant, Hefter emphasizes the best ingredients seasoned with influences of other cultures.


Josiah Citrin: October 12 & 13 - Lodge at Koele:Executive Chef, Melisse, Santa Monica. Contemporary American-French cuisine by one of “America`s best new chefs,” according to Food & Wine.


John Loring: December TBA - Manele Bay Hotel: Design Director of Tiffany & Co. since 1979 and the author of nine books, including Tiffany`s 150 Years, Tiffany Taste and Tiffany Weddings.


All performances are complimentary for resort guests and members of the community. Most are scheduled for 8:30 - 9:30 p.m.; chefs offer complimentary cooking classes Sunday at 3:30 p.m., and their Saturday and Sunday signature dinners are offered at a fixed price, with reservations highly recommended.
