Pop star Britney Spears has confirmed that she is heading to Las Vegas with a two-year residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The 31-year-old announced singer has announced 16 dates, but she will perform 50 shows in 2014 and 2015.

The approximately 90-minute performances will take place beginning Dec. 27 inside a 4,600-capacity planetarium-like theater with traditional seating, a dance floor, private tables and bottle service.
