bmibaby expands route network
bmibaby is adding seven new routes as part of its summer 2012 flying schedule.
The budget carrier has unveiled flights from East Midlands to Gibraltar, Corfu, Murcia and Naples, and from Birmingham to Lisbon, Rome and Barcelona.
Year-round flights will also be added to Cologne from East Midlands and Prague from Birmingham. The carrier will operate 31 routes from East Midlands and 14 routes from Birmingham.
Managing director Julian Carr commented: “The new routes are part of our expansion strategy for the Midlands.
“We recently announced that will be basing two additional aircraft in the Midlands from the end of our summer 2011 flying programme and will now operate a total of 45 routes from the Midlands. We are committed to further growth in this region.”
