The NH Collection Eurobuilding Hotel in Madrid will welcome the event in November

Bench Events and Questex Hospitality Group, organisers of the International Hotel Investment Forum, have revealed they will host the inaugural Mediterranean Resort & Hotel Real Estate Forum.

The event will take place from November 9th-11th, at the NH Collection Eurobuilding Hotel in Madrid.

The conference will be opened by Taleb Rifai, secretary general of the World Tourism Organisation.

According to UNWTO, tourist arrivals in the Mediterranean destinations will reach over 500 million in 2030.

However despite the regions popularity, destinations around the Mediterranean face several challenges – economic, political and environmental.

The MR&H programme will feature 70 industry leaders, expert speakers and moderators who will be discussing the outlook for both the emerging and mature destinations in the region, the challenges these destinations face in the long-term, how they can adapt to changing market conditions and what opportunities they offer.
