Avis Budget Group shuffles leadership in United States

Avis Budget Group has announced the promotion of two senior executives: Gerard Insall has been named executive vice president and chief information officer, and Ned Linnen has been appointed executive vice president and chief human resources officer.

The two were previously senior vice presidents and chief officers of their respective areas.

As executive vice president and CIO, Insall is responsible for the management of all facets of Avis Budget Group’s global Information Technology organisation.

These include enterprise applications, IT operations, networks, architecture and IT strategy.

He has held various positions of increasing responsibility within IT at Avis Budget Group since joining the Company in 1988.

Linnen, executive vice president and CHRO, oversees Avis Budget Group’s global human resources activities including organisational development, labour and employee relations, talent acquisition and diversity strategies, reward and recognition programs, equal employment compliance, health and safety, and employee engagement initiatives.

He joined the Company in 2001 and since then has held positions of increasing responsibility.
