AVIAREPS group, the leading international General Sales Agent, has announced a transition in management in its home market Germany. The aviation units in both Frankfurt and Munich will be now headed by Heiko Oeser, who was promoted to General Manager.
Heiko has already proven his expertise and strong commitment in his former roles as Sales Manager and later Director of Sales with AVIAREPS Germany.
The experienced industry professional with a long record in aviation sales and marketing will supervise all activities of the German AVIAREPS team with nearly 100 staff members in reservations, sales and administration.
Heiko takes over a vast portfolio of 30 aviation clients from his antecessor Edgar Lacker. Among the renowned airlines AVIAREPS represents in Germany are Aer Lingus, Air Astana, Air Namibia, Czech Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines and the latest addition Ural Airlines.
The management change follows a restructuring of responsibilities in the German market. Last year, AVIAREPS Board member Edgar Lacker was entrusted with a new role as Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President Europe of the AVIAREPS network. He continues to dedicate his knowledge and excellent network to the important European region and focuses on the growth and management of these core markets. Germany still remains part of his responsibility but with Heiko Oeser, a fruitful addition to the management team has been gained.
