Arajet Launches New Direct Route Between Rosario and Punta Cana

Arajet continues to strengthen its South American network with the launch of its new direct service between Rosario and Punta Cana. The operation, which began on Tuesday, June 16, will provide a nonstop connection between one of Argentina’s most important cities and one of the Caribbean’s most popular tourist destinations.
The new service will operate three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, offering travelers a convenient way to visit the Dominican Republic and access Arajet’s growing network of international destinations through its hubs in Santo Domingo and Punta Cana.
The addition of Rosario as Arajet’s fourth destination in Argentina marks an important step in the airline’s expansion strategy in the Argentine market, where demand for international leisure travel continues to grow. This new route expands connectivity options for travelers in central Argentina, reducing travel times and improving access to the Caribbean. It also underscores the importance of the Argentine market for both the Dominican Republic and Arajet, as it represents the airline’s largest source market for tourism and one of the most significant contributors to the country’s tourism industry.
“Rosario is a city with enormous potential, and we are excited to add this new connection to our network. Through this route, we are bringing Argentina even closer to the Dominican Republic and to the other destinations we serve across the continent, while remaining committed to offering affordable fares and a high-quality travel experience,” said Victor Pacheco, CEO and Founder of Arajet.
“The arrival of Arajet to our airport for the first time is no coincidence; it is the result of a plan we launched under the leadership of Maximiliano Pullaro to position Santa Fe at the forefront. With the airport modernization works completed, we are now consolidating Rosario International Airport as one of the most modern terminals in the country. We are proving that our province has no limits and that the region can connect directly with the world, boosting tourism and economic development without relying on centralization or intermediaries,” said Gustavo Puccini, Minister of Productive Development of the Province of Santa Fe.
The launch of this service strengthens tourism and commercial ties between Argentina and the Dominican Republic while contributing to a broader range of air travel options for passengers in Argentina’s interior regions.
With this new route, Arajet continues to establish itself as one of the fastest-growing airlines in the region, committed to improving connectivity between South America, the Caribbean, and North America.
