Amadeus and Qantas extend content deal

Amadeus and Qantas, the flag carrier of Australia, have announce the extension of a long-term, full content agreement that guarantees the tech giant’s users worldwide access to the carrier’s full range of fares, inventory and schedules.

Travel professionals using the Amadeus system will continue to have access to the airline’s domestic and international schedules, fares, and last seat availability through the Amadeus system under the same conditions as those offered through the airline’s website qantas.com and other distribution channels.

Additionally, the new agreement ensures that Amadeus users will be able to book and pay for Qantas ancillary services which today includes advanced seat selection.

“We are pleased to reach this agreement and look forward to strengthening our long term relationship,” said Qantas executive general manager for domestic sales, distribution and marketing, Stephen Limbrick.
