Air Mauritius Kestrelflyer expands pact with Air France/KLM

Air Mauritius Kestrelflyer has extended its partnership with Air France/KLM to provide members of both frequent flyer programs with an enhanced range of benefits.

The Air Mauritius KestrelFlyer loyalty programme is being substantially enhanced by the synergies achieved with the Air France/KLM Flying Blue programme that covers a network of more than 420 destinations.

KestrelFlyer members will earn miles when flying to and from other European destinations through hub Paris, Charles de Gaul (75 destinations), as an additional benefit adding to the miles earned on Mauritius-Paris (vice versa) routes.

With their accumulated miles, it is now possible to Kestrelflyer members to benefit from Economy&Business Class Award tickets on all the Air France/KLM network spanning across 420 destinations worldwide.

Similarly, Air France/KLM Flying Blue members can now earn miles when flying Air Mauritius on Paris–Mauritius and Mauritius–Reunion (vice versa routes). These miles can be used to benefit from Economy&Business class Award tickets to all destinations on Air Mauritius flights across its network.

“The tie-up was identified as one of the key initiatives of Step 2 of our 7 step plan: ‘Revamping Commercial and RM’ as it provides valuable support to our commercial strategy.

“The completion of this project opens new horizons to members of our loyalty program and reinforces the Air France/KLM–Air Mauritius partnership. I wish to thank the project team that has made it possible as well as our partner Air France/KLM,” Andre added.
