Aeromexico adds new flights to Austin, Texas

Aeromexico has announced the expansion of its service to the United States from Mexico City with the addition of Austin, Texas to its route network on November 17th, 2016.

The decision comes as the airline continues to grow its presence in Texas with the introduction of Austin as its fourth destination in the state in addition to Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio.

The carrier will operate the flight four times a week using an Embraer 170 aircraft that has a 76 seating capacity, with the following schedules.

“The addition of this new service represents the carrier’s 17th destination in the United States, making Aeromexico the only Mexican airline serving this many destinations to the US,” said Grupo Aeroméxico chief revenue officer, Anko Van der Werff.

“The Austin route allows us to offer customers increased flight connectivity options with an average of 6,500 seats per week, facilitating increased educational and cultural exchange opportunities between Texas and Mexico.”
