Addison Lee reveals plans for eco-friendly fleet

Addison Lee has unveiled plans for Addison Lee Eco – an entirely new division which will comprise London’s biggest eco-friendly passenger car service.

With a fleet of 350 state-of-the-art hybrid vehicles, Addison Lee Eco represents a major step forward for the company, which prides itself on industry-leading environmental credentials.

As part of Addison Lee’s ongoing commitment every car and van is monitored and maintained to ensure it minimises CO2 emissions at all times – and replaced on average every three years to incorporate the latest fuel-efficient technology.

In addition, the company’s proprietary booking and dispatch system ensures that vehicles waste as little fuel as possible through unnecessary mileage.

Joining Addison Lee’s fleet of 4,800 premium minicabs, Addison Lee Eco will sit alongside the corporate, VIP and international divisions, allowing the company to offer services designed for the widest possible range of passengers and businesses.

“Addison Lee Eco now has more than 350 eco-friendly cars that are in line with our premium credentials and offer the same quality service as the rest of our fleet.

“As the private-hire sector evolves we continue to pioneer through technology to remain at the forefront of sustainable development within our industry.”
