125 injured in Dutch train collision

125 people have been injured following the collision of two passenger trains in Sloterdijk, Amsterdam, according to reports.

The cause of the crash, which took place on Saturday evening, is unknown.

The crash which involved an inter-city train and a local stopping service took place at 18:30 local time.

There were no fatalities reported, but 13 passengers injured in the crash are thought to be in a serious condition while 44 were badly injured,

Services between Amsterdam and The Hague and to Schiphol airport along the Dutch Rail Network were disrupted due to the accident.
