Jumeirah Hotel Frankfurt revitalises Frankfurt’s hotel sector
The Jumeirah Frankfurt has caused quite a stir since it opened its doors alongside the PalaisQuartier complex in Germany’s financial centre last year. With its glass curtain wall, the hotel tower stretches over 96 meters and 25 floors and occupies 22,000 metres.
The stunning 218-room property offers the largest guestrooms in Frankfurt, decorated in warm shades of walnut, honey and nutmeg, with natural materials such as timber floors, silk carpets, with original artwork by Hartwig Ebersbach.
The rooms and suites, designed by Peter Silling, are equipped with the latest technology, a media hub with a selection of international plugs, a headphones socket and audio/video access, a Nespresso machine, BOSE surround sound system and a 42 inch LCD TV.
In yet another modern twist, the hotel features a hybrid room tempering system which uses body heat detectors and motion sensors that regulate all in-room energy consumption efficiently and sustainably.

Meanwhile guests can control lighting and climate via a programmable room management system which is available in each room.
Other gadgets include a touch panel device that can be controlled from the bed which controls the electric curtains, a do not desturb sign and lighting.
Guests who enjoy spacious, modern bathrooms will be in their element, open bathrooms feature a bathtub, a stand-alone mosaic rain shower and a panel heating to heat and dry towels.
Rooms and suites range from Deluxe Rooms, Studio Rooms, Skyline Deluxe Rooms, Junior Suites, Skyline Junior Suites, Deluxe Suites, the Senator Suite and the 220m² Presidential suite, located on the 24 floor, boasts two bedrooms, a private sauna and views over the Frankfurt financial district.
Dining at Frankfurt Hotel
Guests and visitors to the gem of a hotel can choose between three restaurants and bars, from exquisite and inventive modern cuisine and a chic metropolitan café, to a vibrant lobby bar. On the ground floor an all-day dining facility offers light snacks and pastry to visitors.
The signature restaurant “Max on One” serves authentic German and Austrian cuisine. Designed by leading Japanese designer Takashi Sugimoto and his team at Super Potato, the restaurant includes an open show kitchen, a private dining area and a comfortable lounge.
Open throughout the day, the chic café is strongly reminiscent of elegant Parisian bistros. Offering sumptuous snacks and pastries, with a direct access to the shopping mall “MyZeil”, this venue is a favourite with the metropolitan crowd.
Offering excellent views of the Thurn-und-Taxis-Palais, Ember Bar & Lounge is the heart of Jumeirah Frankfurt. The bar exudes intimacy whilst providing a vibrant setting for cocktails and light snacks for the city’s movers and shakers.

Part of the bigger picture
The opening of the Jumeirah Frankfurt Germany’s financial centre marked a significant development in the Dubai based Jumeirah group’s global expansion plan.
The property marked the Dubai-based hospitality group’s first foray into the German market and its first hotel in continental Europe.
“It will serve Germany’s financial centre and one of Europe’s most important international business and travel hubs.” Gerald Lawless, chief executive of the Jumeirah Group said of the property.
“Germany is one of the world’s largest economies and a market that has traditionally served as the third largest inbound market for Jumeirah’s properties.
“It’s a key market for us and we see this first move to invest in the German market as an important and sound link that cements an already strong connection,” said Lawless.
“We believe this agreement will see the establishment of a world-class, market leading luxury hotel in Frankfurt city centre,” said Lawless on opening the property.
PalaisQuartier is located at the heart of Frankfurt at the Thurn-und-Taxis-Platz, within walking distance of the city’s financial district and stock exchange, pedestrian shopping areas and the city’s opera house.
The mixed use development includes the reconstructed baroque 18th century Thurn und Taxis Palais and a retail development, premium office space and the Jumeirah Hotel Frankfurt.
“Frankfurt is very interested in strengthening its relationship with the Gulf States. With this new five-star hotel, from a company in our partner city Dubai, we will strengthen the potential contact to other partners in this region,“ added Lawless.
Located in the heart of the city, adjacent to the old Stock Exchange, Jumeirah Frankfurt is within walking distance of the popular “Zeil” shopping street, the prestigious
“Goethestrasse” and the city’s financial district.
With the underground station being only 200 meters away, the Frankfurt exhibition centre can be reached within 5 minutes, Frankfurt International Airport within 20 minutes.
Jumeirah’s ambitious expansion plans to grow its portfolio of luxury hotels and resorts worldwide are well underway with the Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel in Baku and Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa in Kuwait set to open later this year.
