A group of industry experts have come together for a new webinar to examine what wellness tourism might look like in Sri Lanka as it prepares for a bright future.

Organised by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board in association with the Sri Lanka Wellness Tourism Association, the event explored the unique assets and advantages on the Indian Ocean destination.

Moderated by Nilusha Kodituwakku, managing director of Ayurva Traveller, the show features a panel of both local and international leaders from the wellness industry.

“The level of promotion which is being done to attract wellness tourists currently is quite limited when compared with Kerala and Thailand, although we have got the necessary offerings,” remarked Kimarli Fernando, Sri Lanka Tourism chairperson.
