Vietjet has welcomed the inaugural departure on the new Hanoi-Taichung route from Noi Bai International Airport.
Vietjet has become the first airline in south-east Asia to take delivery of an A321neo (new engine option). The first plane arrived at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport from Hamburg, Germany, earlier.

Vietjet has signed an agreement with CFM International – a joint venture between GE Aviation and Safran Aircraft Engines. Witnessed by Vietnam prime minister, Nguyen Xuan Phuc and US secretary of commerce, Wilbur Ross, the deals include a 12-year maintenance support contract for Vietjet’s 215 LEAP-1B engines, worth US$3.6 billion.

Vietjet has launched its latest international route, connecting Hanoi and Siem Reap, Cambodia. The new route operates on a daily basis departing from Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi at 16:55 and arrives at Siem Reap International Airport at 18:40.
