The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism, in partnership with the Division of Festivals, announces the highly anticipated lineup for the 74th Annual St. Thomas Carnival Village, showcasing an exciting mix of homegrown, regional, and international talent. Headlined by hip-hop icon Busta Rhymes, and award-winning St. Thomas–born duo R. City, this year’s Village concerts celebrate the vibrant culture and musical diversity of the Caribbean and the Virgin Islands.
Jennifer Matarangas-King Officially Sworn In as U.S. Virgin Islands Commissioner of Tourism
Jennifer Matarangas-King was officially sworn in as Commissioner of the U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) Department of Tourism on Thursday, January 15, during a ceremony held at Government House on St. Croix. The ceremony was attended by Governor Albert Bryan Jr., the Matarangas-King family, colleagues, members of the Government House Cabinet, and distinguished guests, including former Commissioners Beverly Nicholson-Doty and Joseph Boschulte, as well as former Assistant Commissioner of Tourism Claire Roker, marking a meaningful moment of continuity and leadership for the Department.

The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism and Division of Festivals is pleased today to announce the 73rd Annual St. Thomas Carnival Village performance line-up. Headlined by global dancehall superstar Shabba Ranks and international soca superstar Kes, the six-free Village Nights will be highly anticipated ahead of kickoff on Monday, April 28.
