Travelport has announced a further merchandising milestone as South African Airways becomes the first carrier in Africa to sign up for Travelport’s Rich Content & Branding. Travelport Rich Content & Branding is highly progressive technology which enables airlines to more effectively control how their fares are visually presented and described on travel agency screens, bringing them more in line with the airline’s own website experience.
Travelport initial public offering values company at $1.9bn
Travelport has announced it has commenced an initial public offering of 30 million of its common shares, priced at $14 to $16. The deal, which seeks to raise $480 million, would value the company at $1.9 billion at the top end of expectations.

Travelport has announced the renewal of its multi-year full content agreement with Alitalia, Italy’s leading carrier. The renewal of the full content agreement takes immediate effect, and enables the 67,000 Travelport-connected agents worldwide access to all of Alitalia’s fares and inventory, including web fares, and ancillary offerings.
