Boeing delivers first Next-Generation 737-800 to Transaero
Boeing has delivered Transaero’s first Next-Generation 737-800. The airplane, sporting a new livery, arrived at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport earlier. Transaero’s newest 737 has a recognizable radome “bump” on top of the fuselage just behind the wings.
Transaero Airlines expands air services between Russia and Kazakhstan
Transaero Airlines continues to expand the geography of its flights from the Russian Federation to the Republic of Kazakhstan. On May 27, 2015, Transaero Airlines, for the first time in its history, will launch scheduled flights on the Moscow-Kyzylorda route.
Transaero strikes financial rescue deal with Russian government
Transaero Airlines, Russia’s second largest carrier, has expressed its “utmost gratitude” to financial authorities after receiving $170 million in debt guarantees from the government. In a statement the airline thanked the Russian ministry of finance, the transport ministry, the Federal Air Transport Agency, and the State Corporation Bank for Development for their financial support.
Transaero Airlines to launch London-St Petersburg flight
Transaero Airlines is to launch a twice-weekly direct service between London Heathrow and St Petersburg from October 29th this year. It is the first time the route has been operated by Transaero. The scheduled service will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with a Boeing 737 offering Discount class of service.
Transaero Airlines launches new flights to Murmansk
Transaero Airlines will launch scheduled flights between Moscow and Murmansk for the first time from October 10th. Flight UN175/176 will operate from Moscow Domodedovo Airport three times per on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 22:45.

Transaero Airlines has secured a new two-year distribution agreement with Abacus, Asia Pacific’s leading travel technology company. The agreement provides travel agents at over 20,000 locations with full access to fares, schedules and seat inventory on all routes within Transaero’s network.

On January 14, 2014, Transaero Airlines started to offer a new low-cost product called Discount Class. Discount class is offered on certain Transaero flights from Moscow Domodedovo airport on a number of popular domestic and international routes including those to London, Berlin, Vienna, Barcelona, Rome, Milan, Tel Aviv, Vilnius, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Kemerovo, Krasnodar, Mineralnye Vody, Novosibirsk, Novy Urengoy, Omsk, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Saint Petersburg, Sochi, Stavropol, Ufa, Khanty-Mansiysk, Kiev, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Astana, Almaty, Karaganda, Yerevan, Antalya.

Russian carrier Transaero has confirmed it will offer a new low-cost product called Discount Class in 2014. Transaero will offer Discount Class of travel on its flights from Moscow Domodedovo airport to a number of popular destinations across Europe.
