New Deloitte survey uncovers the erosion of travel loyalty
Consultancy Deloitte has today released ‘A Restoration in Loyalty’, an inaugural survey that provides insights into consumer travel behaviour and loyalty program satisfaction. The survey reported a steep decline in consumer loyalty to travel brands.

U.S. travel agents end 2012 3 percent up on 2011 in air ticket sales
ARC, the financial settlement link between airlines and travel sellers, reported today the consolidated dollar value of airline tickets sold by U.S.-based travel agencies increased 2.93 percent* year-over-year in 2012 compared to 2011, and 9.22 percent compared to 2010. Ticket sales for 2012 totaled $84.5 billion, compared to $82.1 billion in 2011, and $77.4 billion in 2010.
