Taj Group launches free Wi-Fi across hotel portfolio
The Taj Group has introduced complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity for residential guests across its 125 hotels around the globe. A first-ever all brand-inclusive initiative in India, guests at any of the Taj Group of hotels - The Taj, Vivanta by Taj, Gateway Hotels and Ginger will now be able to enjoy free Wi-Fi connectivity for the duration of their stay on up to three devices as soon as they check-in to the hotel.
Gateway Hotels & Resorts expands into India with Damdama Lake property
The Gateway Hotels & Resorts, part of the Taj group, has announced the opening of the Damdama Lake Gurgaon, the first Gateway branded resort in India, increasing the brand portfolio to 25 properties. Situated in the outskirts of Gurgaon in the NCR region of Delhi, the 78-room Gateway Resort Damdama Lake Gurgaon is an urban sanctuary nestled in the heart of the Aravalli hills.
Taj Safaris reopens luxury lodges for winter season
Taj Safaris’ luxury wildlife lodges in India, Mahua Kothi, Baghvan, Banjaar Tola and Pashan Garh will reopen for the winter season on October 15th 2014 with a series of new themed experiences. Taj Cape Town prepares for Big Bottle festival

Taj Group rebrands London properties
The Taj Group has introduced its two newly rebranded London hotels - St. James’ Court, A Taj Hotel and Taj 51 Buckingham Gate, Suites & Residences. The hotels will now be promoted within the Taj Group’s portfolio of luxury hotels, resorts and palaces, and the Taj Group has sole ownership and management, as well as operational and marketing control of both properties.
Taj Group launches 100th hotel in India
The Taj Group has announced the launch of its 100th hotel in India with the opening of Vivanta by Taj in the Millennium City of Gurgaon. The Group now has 117 hotels globally, with 26 in the Vivanta by Taj – Hotels & Resorts portfolio.
Vivanta by Taj to open in Gurgaon
Vivanta by Taj will see its rapidly-growing portfolio increase further with the opening of the Vivanta by Taj – Gurgaon, March 7th 2013. 51 Buckingham Gate appoints new GM
51 Buckingham Gate, Taj Suites and Residences has appointed a new General Manager. Mr. Digvijay Singh will replace Mr. Prabhat Verma, who will take up a new position as Chief Operating Officer of Gateway Hotel Division of the Taj Group.
