Leger Holidays has announced that Liam Race has been appointed chief executive of the newly formed Leger Shearings Group of escorted coach tour companies.
Payments are stored in an independently operated secure trust account, until after their holiday has taken place and if the holiday does not go ahead for any reason customers can be refunded.
Almost all of the hotels from the Bay, Coast & Country and Country Living collections have joined the Bespoke banner - effective immediately.
Leger Holidays and Shearings formerly competed head-to-head in the escorted coach tours arena, with the former focusing on European tours while the latter was best known for UK coach trips.
Specialist Leisure Group has gone into administration with thousands of job losses and cancelled bookings expected. The company owns the coach companies Shearings and National Holidays.
Shearings is offering agents an attractive holiday package proposition to make it easier for them to sell breaks during this period of uncertainty caused by the ash cloud.
Shearings is continuing to expand its offering in the cruising sector with the launch of its new sea cruise brochure.
