Dusseldorf Carnival to participate the Seychelles Carnival
In the 2012 edition of the Carnaval International de Victoria, Germany made its presence felt with a carnival delegation from Dusseldorf. The Dusseldorf carnival’s presence in Seychelles confirmed that participation of all the best and most known carnivals parading together alongside cultural troupes from the Community of Nations. Germany’s participation with a carnival float during the parade was highlighted by an incredible acrobatic display from the Dusseldorf Carnival.
Notting Hill Carnival of London heading to the Seychelles Carnival
The Notting Hill Carnival Roadshow Company is again heading this week to the Seychelles to take part in the annual Carnaval International de Victoria where they will parade side by side with the best and most known carnivals from across the world.
Seychelles promoted in UAE
Seychelles has been seeing the number of visitors from the UAE grow in numbers. The islands have two Tourism Board offices in the region, one sitting in the Seychelles Embassy in Abu Dhabi and their main office sitting in Dubai. This arrangement gives them a perfect working partnership with both Emirates and Etihad Airlines as they are based in the base cities of these airlines that are now serving the Seychelles with virtually two flights daily from each of these hub bases.

The new US Ambassador to Seychelles, Shari Villarosa, on Saturday, November 17, visited Nature Seychelles and the Sanctuary at Roche Caiman. Ambassador Villarosa was on her first official visit to Seychelles, where she became her country’s new ambassador.
