The unspoiled beauty of Seychelles has inspired a number of beautiful coffee table photo books. But rarely has the quality of photography met the standards of Gregor Kervina, a nature-loving professional photographer from Slovenia, who has self-published his own compendium of photographs in a book entitled, “Seychelles – the Best Of.”

The new US Ambassador to Seychelles, Shari Villarosa, on Saturday, November 17, visited Nature Seychelles and the Sanctuary at Roche Caiman. Ambassador Villarosa was on her first official visit to Seychelles, where she became her country’s new ambassador.

Weeks ahead of its official opening, the Praslin special Coco de Mer Nature Reserve, Fond Ferdinand, lifted the curtain allowing government representatives spearheaded by Seychelles Minister for Tourism and Culture, Alain St.Ange, to experience the very cusp of the reserve’s famed 122 hectares of endemic species including the largest number of the island’s unique Coco de Mer palm trees.
