Haj pilgrims to Saudi Arabi on swine flu alert
Saudi Arabia’s health authorities are on red alert following the death of four pilgrims from swine flu, and fears this year’s Haj season could provide a breeding ground for the virus. The health minister confirmed that 16 others had so far been diagnosed with the virus and four remain in hospital in “critical condition”.

Saudi Arabia expands aircraft data coverage
In response to ICAO recommendations to enhance the country’s air navigation service, the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of Saudi Arabia, is to introduce VHF air-to-ground data communication services, over the country’s entire airspace in partnership with SITA.
