Ryanair launches new Travel Credit scheme

Ryanair has launched Ryanair Travel Credit, a new incentive that gives customers who book accommodation with Ryanair Rooms ten per cent back in credit to spend on flights. Any customer with a MyRyanair account who makes a booking on Ryanair Rooms will earn ten per cent back in credit, redeemable directly against flight purchases on the low-cost carrier’s website.

Pilots at all 15 Ryanair UK pilot bases – including London Stansted which had previously rejected an improved pay deal – have voted to accept pay increases of up to 20 per cent. Following the decision, increases will be paid next week in the January payroll.

Ryanair has introduced new reduced checked bag fees - and increased check-in bag sizes - to encourage more customers to check in bags and reduce the number of customers with two bags at the boarding gates. The low-cost carrier claims too many customers are currently using the two free carry-on bags service.
