Holidaymakers can now add Genoa to the list of destinations they will be able to fly to direct from Cardiff Airport this summer. Four chartered flights have been added to the schedule to allow customers across Wales and the South West to join P&O’s Mediterranean cruises direct from the Welsh capital.

P&O Cruises has announced that its new 141,000 tons cruise ship, scheduled to enter service in spring 2015, will be named Britannia. Speaking today in London, P&O Cruises & Carnival UK chief executive officer David Dingle said: “Britannia is a most fitting name for the newest addition to P&O Cruises, which, with its long and famous heritage, remains Britain’s favourite cruise line.”

P&O Cruises has announced its senior management team for its new 141,000-tonne cruise ship. Captains Paul Brown and David Pembridge will alternately lead the shipboard team, supported by deputy captains Martin Allen and Hamish Sunter and executive pursers Darljit Sharma and Keith de la Mare.
