Culinary Concept announced for Palacio Nazarenas
At 8am on 15th June 2012, Orient-Express will open the doors to its sixth hotel in Peru, Palacio Nazarenas. A former 16th century convent, the all suite hotel will be a contemporary reflection of Cuzco’s culture, elements of which will be reflected in its restaurant. Senzo, the new restaurant at Palacio Nazarenas, will only serve carefully prepared locally sourced Andean cuisine, a first for the city. Virgilio will ensure that the menu will retain its Andean authenticity whilst featuring his signature avant garde twist, allowing for a delightful journey of gastronomic discovery for all guests.

Resort developer Kerzner International has signed a deal with Hainan Gezhouba Industrial to develop and operate a new One&Only resort on Tufu Bay in Sanya, Hainan, China. With approximately 180 luxurious guest rooms and villas, One&Only Sanya will be nestled amidst 40-acres of coconut palms and ancient rosewood trees, commanding enviable views from over a half-kilometre of private coastline.
Sale of Novotel New York Times Square under €160m Sale & Management-Back agreement
As part of its asset management strategy, Accor announces the sale of the Novotel Times Square in New York under a sale and management-back agreement, for a total value of €160m (€335,000 per room). The selling price amounts to €71m. The buyer has committed to complete a full renovation of the hotel between 2012 and 2013, at an estimated cost of €89m based on a scope defined by Accor. The hotel will remain open while the work is being carried out. In addition, an earn-out amounting up to €12m could be cashed in depending on the results of the hotel after the refurbishment.
