Onyx to open new Amari hotel in Malaysia
Thailand-based Onyx Hospitality Group has been appointed to operate a 207-room property in the Malaysian town of Johor Bahru. Amari Johor Bahru is owned by Exquisite Mode (a subsidiary of United Malayan Land) and will be managed by Onyx under their upscale Amari brand.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with ASB Holdings Limited, for two Hyatt-branded hotels in Tanzania – Park Hyatt Zanzibar and Hyatt Regency Arusha.
