Sofitel signs Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort
Sofitel Luxury Hotels has announced the latest addition to its network in south-east Asia with the signing of a new property in Bali, Indonesia. Scheduled to open in September 2013, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort will introduce its brand blueprint that combines French luxury with the essence of local tradition to one of the world’s most sought-after holiday destinations.
Rezidor opens Park Inn by Radisson Lille Grand Stade in France.
The Rezidor Hotel Group has opened the 127-room Park Inn by Radisson Lille Grand Stade in France. “The triangle of Belgium, Luxembourg and Northern France is an important cluster zone for Park Inn by Radisson, and we aim to further strengthen our presence in this area,” said Kurt Ritter, president, Rezidor.

Hyatt Hotels has announced it has formed a joint venture with an affiliate of Host Hotels & Resorts to develop and operate a 131-unit Hyatt Residence Club resort in Maui, Hawaii on Ka’anapali Beach. A Hyatt affiliate will invest approximately $40 million in the vacation ownership property.
Hyatt Hotels set for new hotel in Manila, Philippines
Hyatt Hotels has entered into an agreement with Bonifacio Landmark Realty and Development to build a Grand Hyatt hotel and Grand Hyatt branded residences in Manila, Philippines. Expected to open in 2015, Grand Hyatt Manila and Residences will be part of a two-tower upscale mixed use project in the residential, entertainment and business district of Fort Bonifacio Global City in Metro Manila.
Hilton Worldwide to introduce two new brands to France in Val d’Europe
Hilton Worldwide announced plans to introduce two new brands to the French market with the dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton Val d’Europe on the doorstep of Disneyland Paris. The opening of what will become the company’s first dual-branded property in France, and the first dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton for Europe, is scheduled for 2015.
DoubleTree by Hilton moves into Thailand
Hilton Worldwide has announced the opening of its first DoubleTree by Hilton property in Phuket, Thailand. The 250-room DoubleTree Resort by Hilton – Surin Beach is located on the west coast of the island on Surin Beach, which is approximately 24km from Phuket International Airport.
