Qantas Freight adds Dallas as fourth US Freighter Port
Qantas Freight today announced it would add a fourth US city – Dallas, Texas – to its freighter network from 6 August 2009*, providing air freight services between the southern US city, China and Australia.
Ryanair announces 39 new routes
Ryanair, the World’s favourite airline, announced today (29th July 09) that it will open 39 new routes to/from the Canary Islands this winter starting in October.

easyJet launches Tel Aviv service
easyJet has announced plans for a new six times weekly service between London Luton and Tel Aviv, making it the first low-cost carrier to operate on the route.The new flights will commence operations on 02 November, with fares leading in at £72 one way - about half the current prices for flights between London and Israel.

easyJet launches 14 new routes across Europe
easyJet is launching 14 new routes across Europe for summer 2009. Nine of the services will operate from UK regional airports, including Newcastle-Malta, Liverpool-Naples and Bristol-Bastia. As part of the expansion, easyJet will base an additional aircraft at Liverpool from 1 June 2009 and at Manchester from 4 August 2009.
Commercial flights to Iraq resume after 17 years
The first commercial flight between Europe and Iraq in 17 years has landed at Baghdad airport.About 150 passengers, mainly Iraqis, arrived on the Nordic Leisure flight from Denmark.
Spirit Airlines launches new Port of Spain route

Continental Launches Non-Stop Edinburgh/NY
Continental Airlines, the world’s sixth largest airline and OAG Airline of the Year 2004, today launched daily non-stop Boeing 757 flights between Edinburgh and New York/Newark - the first-ever scheduled non-stop transatlantic service from Edinburgh.
