Turkish Airlines launches flights to Harkiv (Ukraine)
As of March 13th, Turkish Airlines will operate twice weekly to Ukranian city of Harkiv (Kharkov), increasing to 7 its destinations in Ukraine. Turkish Airlines already flies to Kiev, Odesa, Simferopol, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Lviv, giving the airline one of the most comprehensive flight schedules to destinations in Ukraine. Flights will operate twice weekly, with round trip flights operating on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Emirates boosts Middle East frequencies
Emirates, considered the Middle East’s Leading Airline Economy Class, Middle East’s Leading Airline Lounge, Middle East’s Leading Airline Rewards Program and Middle East’s Leading Airline Website by the prestigious World Travel Awards will boost Middle East operations this August as the airline increases its daily capacity to both Kuwait and Doha, adding a total capacity increase of almost 29 percent across the two routes.
United Airlines to introduce daily New York - Istanbul service
United Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of United Continental Holdings, Inc, today announced plans to launch daily, nonstop flights between its New York hub, Newark Liberty International Airport, and Istanbul, effective July 1, 2012, subject to government approval. Westbound service from Istanbul begins July 2.

Turkish Airlines begins service to Mogadishu, Somalia

American Airlines increases service to Latin America
American Airlines has announced changes to its spring and summer schedule that will expand the airline’s presence in Brazil. Beginning in December, American’s route between Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and Sao Paulo (GRU) will operate with the new state-of-the-art Boeing 777-300ER, making Brazil the first market for the new aircraft.
