Following feedback, Network Rail is holding another public event to discuss options to close the level crossing at Moor Lane in Bingham. The work is to reduce the risk of misuse and create a safer crossing over the railway.

A collective cheer could be heard as Network Rail began tearing down the unloved green canopy that has overshadowed the historic frontage of King’s Cross station since the 1970s. Once removed it will reveal, for the first time in 150 years, Lewis Cubitt’s magnificent Grade I listed Victorian station façade and London’s newest public space – King’s Cross Square.

Network Rail: Work to start on £5.1m Llandudno Station upgrade

Work is to commence this week on a £5.1m project to improve Llandudno Station in North Wales. Outline design work has already been completed for the planned refurbishment of the station which has benefited from a £3.5m Welsh Government investment including European Regional Development Fund structural funding, £1.5m from the Department for Transport’s National Stations Improvement Programme.
