Olympic ticket deadline pushed back to meet demand
Officials were forced to extend the deadline to purchase London 2012 Olympics tickets by over an hour last night following a surge in demand. The website accepted sales until 01:00 on Wednesday, pushing the time limit forward from the original 23:59 Tuesday deadline.

The Olympic Village will deliver 2,818 new homes after the London 2012 Games, including 1,379 new homes already purchased by Triathlon Homes, which will become affordable housing.
